Looking for a daytrip that will delight the whole family? Make the Cabbage Island Clambake an annual activity! Hop aboard the Argo, where your adventure begins with a scenic tour of Boothbay Harbor. When you arrive at Cabbage Island in Linekin Bay, you will be greeted by a feast of Maine lobsters, clams, and all the fixings! (Chicken is also available by prior request.)

The authentic meal includes a steaming cup of traditional New England Fish Chowder, two luscious bright red lobsters, tender white steamed clams wrapped in foil, sweet golden corn on the cob, onion, and new Maine potatoes. For dessert, you will love their famous Blueberry Cake with hot fresh coffee or iced tea.

Cabbage Island activities include fishing, horseshoes, volleyball, badminton, or just sitting back and relaxing. The huge island lodge is big enough to hold 150 visitors in the event of bad weather.

The total cost per person is $58.95, which includes the boat trip, tax, and the clambake itself.

Lobster/clam Bake, Sat 19 Sep 2009

My Husband and I are from Ohio, visiting friends from Maine. They took us to Cabbage Island for a Clam/lobster bake. The food was great. Lots of it. The ride over and back was enjoyable. (We sat on the back of the boat) weather was fantastic. Had a great time. Good food and good friends and a good time.
