Are you breastfeeding, or considering it? La Leche League is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women who choose to breastfeed.

Breastfeeding is a simple and natural process, but you may need support and information on the correct positioning of the baby at the breast, working and breastfeeding, and avoiding or overcoming any
difficulties that may occur. Knowing other women who have breastfed their babies can be helpful and reassuring. Having accurate, up-to-date information is also important.

Seacoast Area La Leche League offers mother-to-mother support, information, and education to breastfeeding and expectant mothers. Each meeting has a topic, but you may ask questions on any aspect of breastfeeding. Meetings are discussion-based and informal. They
provide an opportunity to meet mothers of small children in our community. Pregnant women, mothers, and their babies and children are always welcome!

Meetings are held at 10:00 am in the Carriage Room at the Amesbury Health Center. Since we meet in a public space, please bring a few quiet toys to help occupy older babies and children. We ask you not to bring any
nut-containing foods.

Directions
From I-495: Take exit 54 to the Route 150 Amesbury exit. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right toward Amesbury. At the traffic light turn right onto Route 110. Immediately after the Getty gas station take a left onto Highland Avenue. Go up the hill. Take the first entrance into Amesbury Health Center.

From I-95: Take exit #58B/ Rte. 110-W onto Macy Street toward Amesbury. Drive for 1.6 miles, then turn right onto Main Street and left onto Morrill Place.
