Others to Consider: Kids Fun Stop, Kidz Wurld, Inc., Inside PlayGround, Noodle Noggin' 'N Bean, Imajine ThatConveniently located in the heart of Shoppers' World, the Natick Mall offers amenities for kids like the new Children's PlaySpace located on the second level near JC Penney.
The Beantown playspace is for children under ten. The playspace is brand new and housed in a long room that is full of unique climbing structures and slides all paying tribute to Boston. As you enter, you pass under an arch to the 'public garden' complete with brightlly colored child-sized duckies to sit on. Climb stairs to the mini Green Monster at Fenway, or climb up to a tree house. Pretend to have a picnic underneath (no food is allowed though) at the 4 seater picnic table. Play pirate in the back on the wooden pirate ship.
On rainy days, weekends, and during the winter, this playspace can get overrun and quite crowded. Weekday mornings are best. It's not too bad if it is just little kids and toddlers. There is a height limit but it isn't really enforced so when older kids are there is can get a little crazy.

Crazy, Tue 17 Feb 2009
Great structures for kids to play; but keep in mind there is no enforced maximum age for kids to play. If you bring small kids (I have a 2 and 4 year old) it is likely that they will be knocked over by 12-13 year olds who run through the play area and jumpo from the strucures. This would be a great place for small kids if they had staff working in there to be sure that older kids cannot get in and ruin the fun for young children.
Fun For Small Kids, Sun 3 Aug 2008
The new playspace is open near JC Penney. It is much nicer than the old playspace was. It has a ship the kids can climb on and pretend to steer, slides, a tree house type structure and also some colorful ducks for the youngest kids to play on. Overall it is very cute, better weekday mornings when it is calm.
Gross, Tue 9 Oct 2007
Would never let my kids play in again. Child was urinating on the floor & the other kids with their sticky sweaty bare feet were all running through it. One woman lost her child because there were so many kids there it was hard for her to keep track of hers. there were Older 10 year olds playing on the toddler equipment knocking over my 2 yr old twins. Very unsanitary & dirty, totally grossed out. You would be safer to pay to go to another facility than play there for free.
This Is A Nice Playspace But The Crowd Can Be Rough For Toddlers, Sun 13 Feb 2005
The Playspace is small but quite nice, the mall keeps it immaculate. It is conveniently located in the food court and there is an arcade close by for older siblings. However, there are way too many children that are above the height limit that are running around unsupervised every time I go there. The Playspace is in the food court, so parents sit and eat and chat and let their kids run around without watching them, similar to what you see at McDonalds. You really need to stay with your toddler, but if you are willing to do that they will have a fun time. There is an area next to the Playspace with ride-on vending maching rides that take coins and my kids like to ride on those - there is never a line for those - most people go for the free playspace. Sometimes we go to Johnny Rockets for dinner and then walk over and let the kids run loose at the playspace towards the end of the night and it is not so crowded. My kids are 2 and 8 and they both really like to play there (even though my 8 year old is well above the height limit he uses his little sister as an excuse to keep going to this fun spot).
Nice playspace...but, Tue 20 Jan 2004
This is a really nice playspace. It is designed well and safe for kids of all ages. One caveat - it can get kind of crowded with bigger kids during the busy hours(the age range is 2-10 or so), so you really need to watch over younger children and toddlers in there. If you go in the morning with little ones it tends to be less crazy.
