Camps and Day Adventures, Sew Trendy Studio, MIT Day CampCreate-a-Cook aims to teach children by giving them the freedom to 'do' and learn. Their instructors have years of teaching and cooking experience, and their classrooms are designed so that kids learn to cook in a comfortable, safe, hands-on environment, built just for them.
Ten summer cooking programs are being offered between June 26, 2006, and August 28, 2006. Each week's program is based around a different theme, including 'Summertime Picnic Basket,' 'La Cucina Italiana,' and 'Following the Spice Route.' Half-day sessions are offered for children ages 7-10, and full-day sessions are available for children ages 11-13. The full-day sessions feature field trips to culinary gems such as the North End, Chinatown and a local farmer's market.

Weekly fees per half day session: $200
Weekly fees per full day sessions: $350

Directions
From I-95: Take exit #20A toward Brookline/Boston, and merge onto MA-9 East. Drive for 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Boylston Street, then left onto Winchester Street. Create-a-Cook is less than .1 mile down the street.
