The Russian School of Mathematics (RSM) is an award-winning, after-school math enrichment program for K-12 students. Our approach is based on the best practices of math schools in the former Soviet Union and Europe, adapted to the US educational environment for students of all abilities.
We help our students to become thinkers and analysts by enabling them to understand mathematical concepts at a high level, and at an early age.
Our math enrichment summer program is a six week course for students of varying abilities and grade levels. Our introductory courses for students Grades K - 6 hone students' analytic skills and enhance their number sense by introducing them to abstract concepts.
This course builds, develops and reinforces the work done over the year and gets the student ready for the year ahead.
Our Algebra and Geometry courses for incoming or existing high school students build up prerequisite skills and front load the key concepts of High School math.
We also offer contest-level math courses for mathematically-gifted students, where we introduce non-straightforward problems - opening our students to the intrigue of math in the world. Students are also prepped for various national and international math competitions.
