Children's Show At The Boston Pops, Mon 5 Jan 2009

We went on Sunday, Dec. 21st. to the 11AM preformance. The show was very good. We sat in the 2nd balcony on the left side of the stage. The seats were high but there were only 2 rows. The ones in the front row were great. The kids could really see most of the stage an watch the instruments as they were played. This year they read 'The Polar Express' instead of the traditional ''Twas the Night Before Christmas'. The combination of the reading and slide show really kept my kids' interest. The length of the show was perfect. Just as my kids (ages 3 1/2 & 7) started to fidget the last song (the sing along song) began. We have done a lot of Children's summer preformances (plays) so this being mostly music was new and different for them. They liked it but not as much as I did.
