Where to Look for the Camera on Every Disney World Ride

Where to Look for the Camera on Disney World Rides
(And where to find your ride photo afterward!)
Disney ride photos are part pose, part surprise, and part pure magic. Here’s your quick, park-by-park guide to spotting the camera and knowing exactly where to find your photo viewer so you can link it to your Disney PhotoPass account.
Magic Kingdom
Tiana's Bayou Adventure (formerly Splash Mountain)
Where to look: At the bottom of the big drop — look to the left, toward the cut-outs in the rockwork.
Where to view your photo: In the exit shop, just past the unload area.
Haunted Mansion
Where to look: Inside the changing portraits corridor. Flashes go off quickly, so the camera can be tricky to spot your first time.
Where to view your photo: *No viewing station. Photos auto-link via MagicBand / MagicMobile.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Where to look:
- After the first lift hill: On a banked left turn, look slightly up and into the curve.
- After the second lift hill (“Heigh-Ho”): Look straight ahead toward the bridge area.
Where to view your photo: In a small photo alcove on the right, just past the exit ramp.
TRON Lightcycle / Run
Where to look: During the launch, with cameras positioned on each side — but many guests get their best shot simply looking forward.
Where to view your photo: *No viewing stations. Photos and videos auto-link via MagicBand/Bluetooth.
Space Mountain
Where to look: Right after the light tunnel, on the first bend. Look into the curve — it happens fast!
Where to view your photo: In the exit tunnel, on the left side, before entering the gift shop.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
Where to look: In the final room with Zurg — look to the right.
Where to view your photo: Inside the gift shop at the exit (Merchant of Venus / Star Command).
Bonus: Astro Orbiter
No actual ride photo — but the top platform is excellent for selfies with Tomorrowland views.
EPCOT
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Where to look: During the backwards launch, look up and slightly right when you see a strobe effect.
Where to view your photo: *Auto-linked only. No viewing kiosks.
Test Track (2.0)
Where to look: On the outdoor speed section, just as you leave the building.
Where to view your photo: In the post-show car design showroom, on the left wall.
Frozen Ever After
Where to look: On the small drop, look to the left.
Where to view your photo: At the ride exit, before the Norway gift shop (The Fjording).
Hollywood Studios
Slinky Dog Dash
Where to look: After the second launch, Slinky hits small hills then makes a left turn — the camera is on the right.
Where to view your photo: Along the exit walkway, on the right wall.

Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster
Where to look: On the launch, from the right side. Looking straight ahead gives the best chance.
Where to view your photo: Inside the post-ride gift shop.
Tower of Terror
Where to look: On the main drop — results depend on seat placement and who’s in front of you.
Where to view your photo: In the exit hallway, just before the gift shop.
Animal Kingdom
Dinosaur
Where to look: Just before escaping the final Carnotaurus — the camera is up and to the right.
Where to view your photo: In the post-ride gift shop.
Expedition Everest
Where to look:
After the broken-track/Yeti shadow scene, look up to the right as you exit the mountain. It's basically on the big steep forward drop.
Where to view your photo:
In the exit area, just before the gift shop. Tap your phone or magic band on the viewer with your photo and it will link to your account.
Final Tips for Picture-Perfect Ride Photos
Catching the camera at Disney World is part insider know-how and part happy accident. Whether you're striking a pose, going full scream, or surprising yourself with a candid moment, knowing where to look makes getting that perfect shot even easier.
And remember — the best photos happen when you’re relaxed and having fun. So glance up when you can, don’t overthink it, and let the magic create the memory.
