Haunted Happening Highlights:

October 2: Haunted Happenings Grand Parade (6:00pm - 7:30pm)
* The annual Haunted Happenings Grand Parade, presented by the Salem Chamber of Commerce.

October 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26: Chilling Tales: Eerie Legends of the Supernatural at Sea (5:00pm - 9:00pm)
Tall Ship Friendship, Salem Maritime National Historic Site, 160 Derby Street
* Salem Theatre Company presents the 6th Annual Professional actors from the STC perform ghost stories of the sea on board and below deck of the Friendship in Salem Harbor. Family-friendly. Oct. 10, 11, 12, 17,18,19, 24, 25, 26; $15 adults, $10 students, free for children under 13. Tickets available at Derby Wharf on Derby Street on performance evening only. October 18: Salem Harvest Fest (3:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

* Wine, Meads and Craft Beer. Presented by Pamplemousse.

October 24: Trick or Treating on Pickering Wharf (5:30pm - 7:00pm)
Pickering Wharf
* Children can give the costume a test run on Friday, October 24th at Pickering Wharf in Salem. Parents with children in costume, age 14 and under are encouraged to visit all stores in Pickering Wharf with balloons outside their doors from 5:30-7:00. No tricks, just treats!

October 26: Stop by for a Spell Children's Costume Brunch (11:00 am - 2:00 pm)
Hawthorne Hotel, 18 Washington Square West
* Children are encouraged to come in costume, and meet entertaining characters, decorate their own pumpkins and receive Halloween treats. $28.95 for adults; $16.50 for children. For reservations and information call 978-825-4311.
