Boston Cares is a terrific local online resource. You can search for volunteer opportunities appropriate for kids ages 13 and under using their search tool.

The Boston Cares also runs a program called BOOYAH! (Boston Young Active Hands), specifically to offer youth and families opportunities to make a difference in their communities.

To find the BOOYAH! projects, just look for the ones that start with “BOOYAH!” on the Boston Cares Calendar.
