come sail away now photoCome Sail Away Now has been operating for more than 10 years in its home city of Boston, Massachusetts.

Our captain, Captain Don has been sailing all his life and was a commercial fisherman in Gloucester, MA.

He is a USCG Licensed Master and is authorized to captain a motor, towing, or sailing vessel of up to 100 tons.

The Tupelo Honey, seating up to 16 passengers, is a 31-foot traditional gaff rigged Friendship sloop docked at Pier 6 at the historic Charlestown Marina Navy Yard. She is a Coast Guard certified replica of the 1904 Friendship sloop Dictator.

Under the expert seamanship of Captain Don, Tupelo Honey has been enchanting guests for ten years now. She's a magical boat - step aboard and find out why!

Dock Location
The day of your experience, you will arrive at the historic Charlestown Navy Yard, Pier 6.

Once on board, you will meet the Captain and crew, sign in, and go over all the safety procedures. Then we will set off, cruising through the Boston Harbor, where you will relax and enjoy the beautiful city skyline.

Please be on time, we don't want you to miss the boat! Arrive 15 minutes early for your adventure, just to be safe. We don't want to leave you on the dock.

Sailing Adventure Options
Come Sail Away Now offers three types of experiences: Traditional Public Sailing Adventures, Public Motor Cruises, and Private Charters. Although the length of each typically lasts 90minutes-2 hours, half and full-day options are available!

Our Public Sails and Motor Cruises are a great, inexpensive way to taste the sweet life, view Boston from a different perspective and relax aboard the Tupelo Honey. Tickets are sold per person, and your party is welcome to BYOB/F.

Our Private Charters are perfect for those wanting a more exclusive, intimate atmosphere. Your party will have the Tupelo Honey to themselves- only sharing it with the Captain and one other crew member.

Public Charters are a unique way to celebrate birthdays, engagements, and anniversaries. They are also great for employee/team building and Bachelor/ Bachelorette parties!

FAQ

Q: Will there be food or beverages served during our sail?

A: CSAN offers a BYOB.F atmosphere. Guests are more than welcome to bring any food or beverages to help make their experience more memorable! We do not have an in-house catering team; however, we would be more than happy to put you in contact with a vouched caterer in the area!

Q: Are dogs allowed aboard the Tupelo Honey?

A: Dogs are only allowed on the boat during Private Charters. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed aboard during any Public Sails or Motor Cruises. Exceptions are made for service dogs.

Q: It’s forecasted to rain; will we still be able to sail?

A: Absolutely, a little rain doesn’t scare us! The Captain will only cancel and reschedule your trip if he deems the water to be unsafe for travel due to severe weather conditions. In this case, the Captain will contact your party to reschedule at the earliest convenience.

Come Sail Away Now operates 7 days a week, May thru October. Come aboard the Tupelo Honey and taste the sweet life!
