Concord's main library has an inviting classic atmosphere with 4 levels of balconies surrounding the entrance hall and rows and rows of stacks to explore on the upper levels. The Concord Free Public Library has many programs, events, and resources for kids — and those who work with them — at the Library and on the web site. The Children's Room presents numerous programs throughout the year. Regular events include drop-in story times, author/illustrator visits, concerts, craft workshops, an annual Halloween party and more. Check their events calendar to see what's happening today.
Don't forget that you can borrow Discount Museum Passes from the library. It's a great way to check out the museums in the area at a fraction of the cost.
The Main Concord branch also has a solid collection of Videos, DVDS and CDs to borrow. All items can be returned to any area library that is a part of the minuteman library network. You may also be interested the Fowler Branch Library in West Concord.

The Concord Library (Main Branch) is in the fork of Main St. (Route 62) and Sudbury Rd. in Concord Center, reachable by Route 126, Route 2, and Route 62.
The Fowler Branch in West Concord is undergoing renovations starting in May, 2010.
