Located within Brookline’s 64-acre Larz Anderson Park, this rink offers skating lessons and rink rentals for private parties. Hockey fans: The adult men’s hockey league plays Tuesday and Thursday nights under the stars. Contact the league president for details.
Adult Drop-In Hockey
Adult drop-in is for skaters 18 years of age and older. Drop-in hockey is an informal, non-checking game for players of all skill levels - with no officials or supervision. It’s a great way to have fun, improve your skills, hang out with friends and stay in shape all at the same time. Helmet is required.
Baystate Skating School
It’s time to sharpen your blades for the coming winter season. Lace up your skates and join the fun.
Recreation, Figure, Hockey skills taught by professional Instructors
Skaters must have sharpened Figure, Hockey, or Recreation Skates - NO Double Runners
Skating helmets are mandatory for students ages 4 to 9 years old and highly recommended for everyone. Mittens/gloves encouraged.
There is a 25 minute lesson and a 25 minute supervised practice.
Skill progression: balancing, falling and getting up, glides, turns, edges, crossovers, spins, jumps, and more.
