green meadows farm photoGreen Meadows Farm is an organic farm raising vegetables, fruits and heritage breeds of livestock. In the farmstand, you’ll find vegetables, natural and organic dry goods, artesan cheeses, hormone-free meats and handmade gifts.

Kids will enjoy visiting the sheep, chickens, pigs and turkeys that are raised for their wool, meat, and eggs. And yes, the um, waste products of the animals are recycled - a vital component of organic farming.

School Group Programs
Programs and tours for groups provide participants with hands-on learning experiences and can be tailored to meet specific needs. Sessions last approximately 1.5 hours and cost $8 per person, including siblings and chaperones. A $25 deposit is requested to reserve your date. Participants should dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes or boots.

Green Meadows Farm was originally an estate owned by General George S. Patton Jr. & his wife. In the 1980's, the next George Patton, a Major General, consulted with farmers and agricultural, environmental and forestry experts to start Green Meadows Farm. His wife continues to welcome visitors to enjoy the open lands and learn about farming.

Seasonal Birthday Parties under the party tent feature hayrides, a take-home gift (such as a seedling or berries the child has picked). outdoor fun and a chance to feed the animals.
