freetown state forest splash pad photoFreetown state forest splash pad is great for little kids. It has a nice wading pool and it is fenced in with 2-3 lifeguards on duty. The area is surrounded by some grass and a some benches and there are bathrooms on the premises.

In addition, you'll find lots of parking, BBQ cooking areas, and even some shade sometimes depending on angle of the sun.

Parents are welcome to enjoy the water and cool down a bit too. Many parents also sit on the side while the kids play.

The spray deck only opens at the end of May until end of June (unguarded then) – and then the wading area opens (same fenced in area as the spray pad) opens in late June early July.

Call 508-644-5522 to obtain a pool permit for groups with 18+ children.
