The Goodnow Library in Sudbury provides resources and services for all ages (toddlers to senior citizens) including books, videos, Internet access, books-on-tape, compact discs, museum passes, art prints, toys, children's story hours, and cultural programs.
The Children's Room is a colorful and comfortable place, with plenty of kid-sized reading areas. There are computers for searching the library catalog and the Internet, and a circulation desk for checking out material. The Children's staff look forward to helping you find just the right book, tape/CD or video/DVD.
Children's Programs:
On a regular basis the Children's Library offers storytimes, a story/craft program, and a book discussion group for children in grades 4-6. Check their online calendar to see what's happening today.
Museum Passes
Don't forget that you can borrow museum passes from the library. Reserve online or call ahead. It's a great way to visit area museums at a fraction of the cost.
The Goodnow Library is a member of the Minuteman Library Network. Circulation and catalog records for network libraries are in a common database, so each library knows what items the other branches have, and if those items are available. Requests are sent electronically, and a patron can expect an item from another town's library in about 5 days. For your added convenience, you can return books to any library network branch without penalty.
