The Center for Arts in Natick (TCAN) works to enhance, inspire and benefit the community - through the arts.
TCAN provides a cultural center to the MetroWest Boston region, where national and emerging artists present performances, literary events, and art exhibitions in an environment that brings together individuals and families, children and seniors. Classes in music, theatre, dance and visual arts are regularly held for students of all ages. Over 350 concerts, events, classes and functions are held each year for the general public.
TCAN's Firehouse venue defines the ideal performance space for music concerts, theatrical and dance presentations, lectures, film programs and special functions in the MetroWest area. This historic (c.1875) Summer Street Firehouse building has been carefully restored as a theatre, art gallery and community center seating up to 280 people for performances, with space to accommodate art exhibits and business offices.
Pocket Full of Tales, the in house theater group, presents children's theater shows featuring teachers and actors from the Center's classes and summer camp. The twisted tales that they regularly perform will delight your family on a fun-filled afternoon of live theatre and family fun!

In TCAN's Musical Theatre Workshops, children share a voyage of the imagination in a series of theatrical programs designed to explore acting, improvisation, creative songwriting, puppetry and musical games. Your child's creativity expands as they work to create performances for friends, family and community. And kids are the stars!
Weekday afternoons at TCAN you'll find dancing, singing, acting and a whole lot of fun are on the menu when young performers get a chance to shine in these exciting workshops presented by the very popular Pocket Full of Tales Theatre Company. Now in its sixth year at TCAN, the workshops and vacation arts programs have become a huge hit with kids and grownups alike.
