The Quincy main library (Thomas Crane Library) is a very nice facility
that was greatly expanded and remodeled a few years back and it has
recently upgraded its already pretty active program of children's reading
and general fun activities.

The Thomas Crane library is top-notch, and staffed by a wonderful group of library professionals. They offer a wide variety of programs for patrons of all ages, from Barn Babies to Mad Science to lectures on many topics.The Children's Room staff are knowledgeable, approachable and dedicated; my toddler has a deep love of books and considers a visit to TCPL a highlight of any day as a result of their influence. I cannot recommend this library highly enough - it is one of the gems of Quincy!
