A Great Place For A Great Time
'Don't wear your good clothes either; they don't have aprons.'
Wear whatever you want! The paints come out easily in the wash. Pieces made at the studios are also great gifts ideas for relatives or maybe even a special teacher or mentor. Everyone should be told about the pricing before they begin painting. At least in my experience that's how it's been! The fee includes all the firing and unlimited use of their supplies which is usually kept in great condition. A week turn around time is also standard based on where I've gone in my lifetime.
I love going on Ladies' Nights. The studio fees are half off and you can bring your own wine! The staff is really friendly and helpful, even outside of Ladies' Nights. My friends and I have a blast every time we go :)Bring The Money Honey To Play With This Clay
We had a nice time checking out the new (Feb. 2010) Nashua location....the studio is comfortable, clean and nicely decorated like a bistro restaraunt. But I had sticker shock when we paid our tab: Two adults and two children (4 medium-to-smallish ceramic projects with the 'studio fee') came to $88.
The fee did include a beverage. I just wished the fee included a gourmet meal, since it costs about the same.
Our 'artwork' was not ready for pick until one week later. It came out amateur-looking since we didn't really know what we were doing. Don't wear your good clothes either; they don't have aprons. The cost would only be justifiable to my wallet if I needed to create some kind of custom piece for a special occassion. Not just for an hour and a half of amusement for a couple kids and their parents.
I would only consider going back if the expensive price included an art class.RELATED LINKS | ↑ top |
