Amari is turning 8, and Franklin Park Zoo is ready to celebrate! It’s a tall order but guests can expect a costumed giraffe mascot, giraffe birthday treats, giraffe facts and more! Events take place from 9:00am – 12:00pm.
It's a tall order, but we hope you're ready to join in the fun. Here's what's in store:
9:00 - 11:00 a.m.: Pose for a selfie with our costumed giraffe mascot at the Zebra entrance.
9:00 a.m.: Watch as Amari and Chad enjoy special birthday treats.
Explore giraffe facts at our Education Station.
Sign a giant birthday card for Amari.
Make your own giraffe mask at a craft station.
2:30 p.m.: Meet with an educator to learn all about the world's tallest mammals.
This event is included with general admission tickets.
