Cat lovers unite!

Competing for ribbons, titles, and points, the cats of TICA (The International Cat Association) will be at one of New England’s largest cat shows, hosted by the Catsachusetts Cat Club on April 27-28th in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Exhibitors from all over the world will be showing pedigreed and household pet cats.

You will see breeds from the hairless Sphynx to the luxurious Persian; the largest cat, New England’s own Maine Coon, to one of the smallest (and newest), the Toybob; the werewolf cat, the Lykoi, to the sleek, spotted Bengal.

These pedigreed cats, as well as pets and former shelter cats, will be featured in our show hall, vying for Best of the Best before an international panel of judges.

Catsachusetts will be partnering with four local rescues (Boston's Forgotten Felines, Charles River Alleycats, Forgotten Felines of Maine, and Stray Pets in Need of Natick).

In 2018, Catsachusetts collected over 400 pounds of cat food donations for these organizations!

Visitors who bring a donation of cat food will receive $1 off admission at the door.

A purrfect event for the whole family, face painting will be available and kids (and adults) can make some feline art with a TICA coloring book.

Take a photo in our selfie booth.

Meet (and pet) some certified Therapy Cats.

Vote for your very favorite cat, who can win an award for Spectator's Choice!

In addition, Pam from Forgotten Felines of Maine will be running a cat care class for children on both days.

The show will feature speakers such as best selling author and cat expert, Pam Johnson Bennett.

Author of books such as 'Think Like a Cat' and 'CatWise', Ms. Johnson Bennett will be giving advice on multi-cat households and what to do if your cat has litterbox issues, as well as Q&A sessions and book signings.

Stacy LeBaron, host of the Community Cat Podcast and animal rescue professional will be speaking both days as well.

In addition, there will be a Parade of Breeds at 12:30pm (approximately).

An excellent opportunity to chat and ask questions, two of TICA's All Breed judges (Fate Mays on Saturday and Harley DeVilbiss on Sunday) will present and describe examples of various breeds and household pets and their histories.

Vendors will have an array of merchandise over the weekend.

Items for your feline friends include sturdy, durable cat trees made in New Hampshire by Arubacats, handmade catnip toys and fuzzy beds from Freddy’s Cat-a-tonic Toyz in Connecticut, food and treats sold by Oma’s Pride from Connecticut, and much more!

For the humans, Massachusetts artist Marc Roulstone will be at the show, as well as Paws Four the Claws Handmade Soaps.
