Can turtles take off their shells?

How does a turtle shell grow?

What's the difference between a turtle and a tortoise?

Come learn some really cool facts (and myths) about our scaly reptile friends that live in the Blue Hills.

This program begins in the museum's auditorium with a hands-on investigation of turtle artifacts, an up-close visit with our resident turtles, a story, and a turtle craft.

We then visit Trailside's pond to watch turtles in their natural habitat.
