Join us at Jack's Abby Brewery in Framingham for food, a beer and a thought provoking discussion with local experts about their work in the natural world.

New technologies are making it possible create data visualizations and even directly observe what whales are doing below the surface.

Dr. David Wiley, Research Coordinator for the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, will present findings based on the sanctuary's use of synchronous motion, acoustic recording and video recording tags placed on humpback whales.

He will discuss and show the humpback's famous use of bubble nets to trap fish, as well as less well known, but equally intriguing, feeding methods the whales use to corral and capture fast moving fish.

Mass Audubon's Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary and Conservation Science Department host this informal series.
