Today, we know Roxbury as a bustling urban center - two hundred years ago, Roxbury was a rural Boston suburb with rolling hills and farmland as far as the eye could see.

Join us on April 15 between 11am and 3pm on the Shirley-Eustis House lawn for a celebration of Roxbury’s farming history.

Activities will include a farm animal petting zoo, butter churning, seed packet giveaways, handmade crafts, fresh popcorn, resources from DSNI, planting tips from Master Gardener Mary Lou O’Connor, and more!

Help us ring in spring in Roxbury.

This event is free for all to attend, thanks to the generous support of the Mass Cultural Council.

In the event of rain, the festival will be in the Shirley-Eustis House carriage house on Rockford Street.
