– Dogtopia, the nation’s leading dog daycare, boarding, and spa facility, is set to open a new location in Franklin on June 17, 2024.The new center will host an open house event on June 13th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Located in the Franklin Village Plaza (475 Franklin Village Drive), Dogtopia of Franklin is looking forward to welcoming all local dogs and families.
The new Dogtopia location is operated by District Manager, Tara Gendreau.
Tara was born in Boston and raised in Watertown before moving to Eastern Canada, where she was able to bring her passion for pets into her career.
Tara spent 10 years managing pet stores across the Maritimes until returning to Boston where her pet industry career continues to grow.
Tara has worked with animals for over 25 years and is continuing to follow her dream of working with pups at Dogtopia of Franklin Village.
Tara is very excited to bring some fun and memories to the dogs in the area.

Each playroom has compressed rubber flooring to ease joints, prevent slipping and promote safer play.

To ensure the safety of all pups, pet parents, and their team, Dogtopia in Franklin takes extra safety precautions alongside their rigorous cleaning protocol.
Dogtopia maintains a custom cleaning program that utilizes pet-safe products that clean, disinfect, and offer the highest level of safety available.
The playrooms are sanitized twice daily when the pups are resting, and routine detail cleaning is performed throughout the day.
Each playroom has a powerful HVAC unit with in-duct UV lighting that funnels air out of the building to ensure clean, fresh air and eliminates bad bacteria and viruses.
Alongside providing quality care in a healthy, safe, and fun daycare center for local pups, Dogtopia also launched the Dogtopia Foundation with the noble cause of enabling dogs to positively change our world.
Dogtopia of Franklin will focus on raising funds to sponsor a service dog in training for a veteran.
One hundred percent of the funds raised will be donated directly to the cause.
