Ocean Related Fun for Kids includes:
10:30 am - 2 pm Traveling Tidepool from the Seacoast Science Center: Get up close and personal!
Programs:
10 am - 10:30 am: The Joys of Nature: Sensational Sea Snakes Learn about sea snakes!
Where are they found in the world?
How are these venomous snakes different from other snakes, including snakes in MA?
Learn about several different sea snakes and meet some special non-venomous live animal guests during the program!
10:45 am - 11:15 am: Atlantic White Shark Conservancy Sharktivities Event: Shark Myth Busting Sharks-true or false?
Learn some of what is really known about sharks and some of the stories that might not be true.
Learn what scientists are learning about our local sharks.
A great chance to ask your own questions about sharks.
11:30 am - 12 pm: Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Wildlife Sanctuary: The World of Penguins Learn about penguins found around the world!
How are they different from each other?
How can penguins walk holding an egg?
See if you can walk like a penguin!
12 pm - 12:30 pm: Lunch Break
