Ever wonder what animals do in winter?Join Matt Gabriel of Animal World Experience for a free program exploring the many ways that animals survive and thrive in winter.
What you find out may shock and amaze you!
Learn about how animals find or build shelter, locate water, and access food.
Do snow and ice make things more difficult for animals to survive?
What is the difference between hibernation and brumation?
Live animals that might be with us include: alligator or crocodile, tortoise, snake, lizard, rabbit, degu, and various invertebrates.
Suitable for 3rd-5th graders and their families.
Space is limited; registration is required.
