Step into a botanical escape this winter as Orchid Adventure returns to Franklin Park Zoo’s Tropical Forest Pavilion.

Back for its third year, this immersive botanical wonderland showcases hundreds of stunning orchids displayed alongside animal habitats from around the world, highlighting the role biodiversity plays in healthy ecosystems.

Inspired by Victorian-era curiosity cabinets, the experience blends rare orchids, repurposed furniture, biofacts, and lush plant life for a visually rich take on conservation history.

Guests can spot Asian orchids near Jye the clouded leopard, African species near lemurs, pygmy hippos, and gorillas, and Central American orchids alongside the tapir, giant anteater, and cotton-top tamarins, while enjoying orchid tours, a scavenger hunt, and interactive learning throughout the exhibit!
