tell me a story april vacation week at boston childrens museum photoStories come alive in celebration of children’s literacy during April School Vacation Week! Each day activities pop up throughout the Museum.

April Vacation Week, Celebration of Children’s Literacy

Everyone tells stories. Stories express ideas and emotions. There are lots of ways to tell a story, books, oral storytelling, puppets, music, dance, pictures, and poetry.

Everyday enjoy: Read alouds, Kamishibai Japanese picture stories, book nooks throughout the Museum, live plays, arts and science activities such as making flip books, bookmarks, and zoetropes, and literacy resources shared by community organizations including Boston Public Library, READ Boston and Raising a Reader.
