Learn how to perform electrolytic etching on brass, copper or steel.

This is an alternative process of etching metal plates for decorative metalwork and intaglio or relief printing that involves no acids, toxic fumes or dangerous and difficult to dispose chemicals.

The workshop also covers the process of building a DYI etching station from inexpensive and accessible components, etching resists, and design considerations.

Students should bring designs, drawings, or digital images to print!

This course is also available to Teens, with parent permission.
