When you visit the The Glass Bar, you are not “spending time.” You are igniting your inner artist and sparking a new passion!
Glass art classes at The Glass Bar are an exciting alternative to out-of-school activities.
We offer a wide selection of activities that will kindle an insatiable desire in your child to create.
At The Glass Bar, each student will learn how to cut, grind, and shape glass in a fun and safe environment.
Our friendly instructors work one on one with your child until he or she is comfortable working on their own.
Your child will leave feeling excited with a new skill set and attitude that will last a lifetime.
How our drop-in classes work:
1) Pick the size of your project.
2) Brainstorm/get inspired!
3) Learn glass safety.
4) Learn how to cut and grind glass.
5) Create!

At The Glass Bar, we work with beginners everyday, accessing each individual’s skill level.
We have developed a master plan to ensure that each student is calm and confident before we move on.
Then, we help each participant find inspiration.
We want everyone to feel the excitement of exploring this new art form.
We encourage each child to test their imagination to find a design that suits them.
Your child will create a piece of fused glass art that they will love.

Rules
Glass Artwork must fire in the kiln overnight and picked up with-in 30 days.
Payment collected at the time of class.
Feel free to bring snacks and beverages.
Please wear closed-toed shoes.
We especially enjoy working with those who don't 'have a creative bone in their body.' The transformation that occurs as you begin to let your inner artist shine will amaze you.

Ages 6 and up, a participating adult must accompany children under the age of 9.

Our drop-in classes are structured around a 'pay by project' model: the prices raise as the project size grows. Our beginning projects start at $20 to make a fused glass necklace and $25 to make a 4x4in coaster/suncatcher.
