She has experience teaching art and English in both China and Boston and holds a Master’s degree in Arts in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she studied the intersection of art, education, and activism.
Shaina has illustrated and published several picture books and comics, and has created art for projects ranging from computer games to community murals.
