Teen Casting Intensive Workshop
Wearable art has been around since before there was fire.
Students learn the fundamentals of casting metal through direct casting into cuttlefish and carving wax.
The whole process is covered from creating a mold, burning out the wax, watching molten metal fill the mold, cleaning and finishing.
Silver is included for the initial project, additional silver is available for sale.
Intensives run Tuesday-Thursday.
Students should bring their lunch or money for lunch at Ula Cafe (walkable) where we take a group at lunch time.
Students should wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair.
Metal casting, welding, jewelry making, mold making, and figure sculpture classes are available.
Custom workshops are available as well, including: wedding ring workshops, teen welding intensives, and more!
