In this 8-week course, you will learn the fundamentals of drawing, which you can then apply to draw anything.

We will practice exercises to strengthen your skills of observation (and the visual/ creative right side of your brain) which will rapidly improve your ability to draw accurately.

While improving your drawing skills, you will also have the opportunity to work with different mediums (graphite pencil, conte crayon pencils, colored pencils) while drawing realistic faces, hands, figures, and animals.

In Level I, we will study aspects of contour drawing, negative space, shading, proportions, and we will work with color.

Anyone can learn to draw with far greater accuracy, once they have learned these fundamental perceptual skills!

The instructor, Mei-Ling Ellerman, will provide feedback throughout each class.
