We will introduce you to our new sewing machines!

You will learn how to:

• Thread the machine
• Wind and change the bobbin
• Change the feet
• Change the stitch length and width Change from straight stitch to zig zag/other stitches Basic machine sewing tips

About the instructor:

Cheryl Moreau teaches sewing and textile arts at HATCH, Watertown’s Maker’s Space, sponsored by the Watertown Free Library.

In January 2022 she will also teach at LexArt Sewing Studio, a new sewing and textile education program for this organization.

Special interests include textile history, knitting, fabric printing, and designing with everyday objects and scrap materials.
