Develop or refine your skill in painting with watercolor and oil pastels with Rahul Ray, beginning on Monday, October 9th.The class will be held in a studio setting and will focus on fundamental skills, such as observation, perspective, scale, and techniques.
Sketching will be an integral part of the exercise.
Oil pastels provide a versatile medium for painting with bright colors.
They also allow ‘scratching’ with a sharp object to provide interesting effects.
Various subjects, including still-life, floral, and portrait will be included in the exercises.
This will be an eight-week session, and success with watercolor and oil pastels, considered difficult mediums, will be all but guaranteed.
