Student Photography Exhibition Reception & Instructor Screening featuring Jon Dorn and Siobhan Landry, July 23rd, 6PM - 8PM

Join us at CCTV for an evening celebrating both exciting emerging artists and established contemporary filmmakers.

Don't miss this fun opportunity to meet the makers and discuss great work being created right here in Cambridge.

Reception: Thursday, July 23rd at 6PM From July 13th – August 21st 2015 the Karen Aqua Gallery at CCTV will host a photography exhibition of work created in two CCTV Media Training Program adult classes offered in Spring/Summer 2015: DSLR Photography and Picturing Home: Intermediate Photography.

Artists featured include Serena Bronda, Aras Hachikian, Chala Hadimi, Rock Louis, John Manson, Sarah Moawad, Jose Negron, Angelika O’Connor and Catalina Rojas.

The public is invited to a reception from 6PM - 7PM to celebrate the fantastic work created in these two classes.

Screening: Thursday, July 23rd at 7PM Following the reception, at 7PM CCTV will host a screening featuring the work of Jon Dorn and Siobhan Landry, both local filmmakers and teachers in CCTV's Media Training Program.

Jon Dorn is an award winning visual artist who works in an assortment of media and genres, from cartooning to watercolor to photography to film/video.

He’s published hundreds of comics and his music videos have screened in festivals throughout the country.

Siobhan Landry is a video-artist and photographer whose work navigates the shifting terrain between the uncanny and the commonplace, the humorous and the harrowing, and is based on personal experiences, documentary interviews, and local history.

Her work has been shown internationally.

Between them they will be showing twelve diverse shorts and excerpts of longer pieces.

Dorn and Landry will be present, following the screening, for a Q&A session with the audience.

Both events are FREE and OPEN to the public.

Refreshments will be served.
