Artist Talk and Reception for SymphonTree, Vero Rose Smith's project in fulfillment of a Master of Design Studies study in Art, Design, and the Public Domain at Harvard Graduate School of Design.
Inspired by collected stories about trees, SymphonTree reflects on trees as totems of memory and as potent reminders of own responsibilities to the environment through interactive algorithmic musical compositions and data visualization.
