It’s time to “Chill” at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum on Aug. 18.

For the Museum’s popular Third Thursday series, escape the summer heat and explore the galleries, gardens, and musical offerings.

The monthly Third Thursday gatherings at the Museum - named The Boston Calendar’s “Best Museum/Gallery Event - are a relaxing mix of artful activities, drinks, and music with a different theme, featuring jazz, world, and roots, performed by local musicians.

Café G will be open for snacks, dinner and drinks.

There will also be a cash bar in the Courtyard.

The event runs from 5:30 PM to 9 PM.

Tickets are required to attend this often sell-out event, and it is suggested to purchase in advance.

Tickets may be purchased online at gardnermuseum.org, by calling the box office at (617) 2878-5156 or at the door.

Tickets include Museum admission.

Ticket prices are as follows: $15.00 for adults, $12.00 for seniors age 65 and up, $5 for students with a valid college ID, and free for children under age 18.
