Come to the kickoff of the Wakefield Estate’s 2017 garden music series on Wednesday, July 26th from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

This month's evening of garden splendor, music and refreshments will feature Richie Parsons, a prominent Boston musician known for his catchy tunes whose recent release Honey & Tears can be heard on CDBaby.

His trio includes Elisa Birdseye on viola and Doug Harper on guitar, with Parsons on vocals and guitar.

The Garden Music series offers visitors an opportunity to stroll the gardens, enjoy a refreshing beverage and hear great music in a casual format.

Tickets are $10; this event is subject to cancellation due to weather.

The Wakefield Estate is located at 1465 Brush Hill Road.

Directions to the Wakefield Estate

From Rt. I-95/128: Take exit 2B in Canton for Rt. 138 NORTH. Proceed through set of lights. About a half-mile or so later, just after passing the Trailside Museum on your right, bear right onto Canton Ave and then take an immediate left onto Brush Hill Rd. You will cross over Rt. 138 – go another 100 yards or so and enter the Wakefield Estate through the first opening in the stonewall on your left – you will see a long and straight dirt lane.

From Hyde Park: Take Truman Parkway West until its intersection at Neposet Valley Parkway. Take a left and at Paul’s Bridge and the fork, stay right. Stay right at the next fork just 500 feet up the road, continuing on Brush Hill Road. Follow Brush Hill Road past the sets of speed bumps to nearly the top of the hill and take the last right when you can see the traffic light ahead at Route 138/Blue Hill Ave – you will see a long straight lane with signs directing you to parking.
