“Founded in Lexington in 1981, Special Needs Arts Programs, Inc., (SNAP) is a non-profit organization that provides people with disabilities opportunities that celebrate each person’s unique abilities while cultivating creative expression, building peer relationships, and fostering self-esteem through life-enhancing activities in the arts.

SNAP programs run in partnerships with the Town of Lexington.”

The Special Artists program bring together individuals with developmental disabilities to work on art projects.

Participants work at their pace in a supportive and fun environment.

Through involvement in the visual arts our artists develop their personal artistic expression.

Public exhibits showcase the talent and achievements of the artists and their contribution to the cultural richness of our community.
