Visit art where it’s made at the 42nd Waltham Mills Open Studios on November 3rd & 4th.

Waltham, MA - More than 90 artists open their doors to celebrate the 42ndt Waltham Mills Open Studios during the weekend of November 3rd and 4th from 12pm-6pm.

Visitors to this free event will meet artists, tour studios, and browse and purchase original artwor.

Join us to for this festive, family friendly event and enjoy live music, artist demos, art activities, and a chance to win tickets to the world famous Boston Ballet.

Featuring artists from the Waltham Mills Artist Association (WMAA), Lincoln Studios, and Metalwerx, this event will showcase nationally recognized artists as well as accomplished and emerging artists working in an array of media and styles; from painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture to jewelry, textiles, glass, photography, woodworking, film and more.

WMAA is located at 144 Moody Street and occupies two adjacent buildings marked Bldg.4 and Bldg 18.

Lincoln Studios, a collaborating artist community, will host visitors just a short walk away at 289 Moody Street.

Artists from Metalwerx, the Waltham-based, non-profit school and community studio for jewelry-making and metal art will be on the first floor of Lincoln Studios (289 Moody St.).

We are also pleased to include New England School of Photography at 274 Moody Street, which will be hosting their open house event on November 3rd.

Waltham Mills is accessible by Commuter Rail (Fitchburg line), MBTA Bus (70, 553, 556, 558), and the Charles River bike path. It is close to many of Waltham’s best restaurants and shops along Moody Street. Spend the day touring studio space, and getting familiarized with the wide range of culture that Moody St. and the city of Waltham offers. Take the convenient Tick Tock Trolley from nearby parking lots to Open Studios buildings. Free parking is available at RTN Credit Union (600 Main St., Waltham) during Open Studios hours.
