MassArt x SoWa is pleased to present the gallery's fifth alumni curatorial project, The Hour of Lead.

The exhibition, curated by MFA Low Residency alumni Cynthia Zeman (MFA ‘20) and Kevin Long (MFA ‘19) is on view from January 14 - March 5, 2023.

“The artists in this exhibition have differing ways of preserving, recreating, and cataloging the absences, losses and experiences that weigh on them.

Their collective work suggests lifelines to a present that recognizes the cyclical nature of events, reframing priorities, and forging new patterns.

The need to process our personal and collective loss and grief has begun to transform into new realities.”
–Kevin Long and Cynthia Zeman
