Join us for a reception to celebrate the start of the Power(s) of Water Festival, which celebrates water as not only a resource, but also a life and creative force.
Boston Strasbourg Sister City Association is sponsoring an exhibition of artwork from both cities.
The exhibition was shown in Strasbourg in April–May 2024, at Galatea Fine Art in Boston's South End in August 2024, and now at the Goethe-Institut Boston (quite appropriate given Strasbourg's French and German heritage).
The exhibition is presented in conjunction with the RPM Festival screening, Water I, which follows at 7:00 PM.
The art exhibition, entitled Project Eau, focuses on artwork inspired by themes of water and the environment, and features the work of 16 artists, eight from each city.
Boston artists:
Agusta Agustsson, Nedret Andre, Ann Forbush, Ronni Komarow, Yvonne Lamothe, Sara David Ringler, Alexandra Sheldon, Stephanie Stigliano.
Strasbourg artists:
Biliana Boykova, Christophe Wehrung, Corinne Albrecht, Martine Lutringer, Manu Poydenot, Pascal Poirot, Christine Schottel-Birgy, Alain Eschenlauer
