Lexington Field and Garden Club Presents

“A Chrysanthemum’s Journey” with Ill Cox

Date: Wednesday, September 10, 2020
Time: 9:30 am Social, 10 am Meeting

The Chrysanthemum’s Journey developed from a fascination with plants as they intersect with human culture.

You will learn this flower’s history from 1500 BC to 2025, how it was used as an herbal medicine to today’s use in personal gardens and commercial growing.

The Chrysanthemum, enjoyed and used by many cultures, is the focus of this presentation.

Ila Cox is a plant lover, gardener, garden traveler and student of garden and plant history.
