As part of the Boston Public Art Triennial, The Urge 2 Merge is a unique evening of live performance, music, film, and cultural conversation led by New Red Order.
Set against the historic backdrop of Faneuil Hall, this thought-provoking event explores the legacy of Thomas Morton and brings together artists, activists, musicians, and historians for a creative and community-centered experience.
This immersive public gathering encourages reflection, engagement, and celebration through art — a compelling opportunity for older teens and adults interested in history, Indigenous culture, and experimental art forms.

The event runs from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am.
This is a durational program, and attendees are welcome to drop in and out.
Readmittance is permitted.
Location: indoors at 4 Marketplace South in Faneuil Hall, directly across from Wagamama.
The space is ADA accessible.

Restrooms are located inside Quincy Market.
The event is open to all ages however recommended for older teens and adults.
Please note that there will be a security checkpoint for IDs, as both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages will be available.
Pizza will be served at 9:00 pm, with additional treats at 10:00 pm.
Accessibility and content advisory: This performance includes live music, sudden loud noises, and flashing/strobe lighting.
