MassOpera Community and Youth Ensemble (cye) video auditions—for our 2025 production of Handel’s Alcina—will be held on a rolling basis until March 22nd, with in-person auditions on 3/22 as well.

This brand-new opportunity is for youth and amateur/ hobbyist adult singers of the Boston community.
Participants must be 14 years of age by the time rehearsals begin on April 14, 2025.
Don’t miss this incredible opportunity for students and community members to perform alongside professional artists in a fully staged and costumed opera with a professional orchestra, the Horizon Ensemble.
In-person audition details:
Saturday, March 22nd, 1-4 PM
Old West Church (131 Cambridge Street in Boston)
Please note that there is free validated parking at the Whole Foods down the street from rehearsals at Old West Church (up to 6 hours), and there will be free parking at Arlington High School for all tech rehearsals and performances.
