Join Revolutionary Spaces for the paperback launch of The Revolutionary: Samuel Adams, Pulitzer Prize-winning powerhouse historian Stacy Schiff’s book about a lesser-remembered but essential founding father.

This event will feature a discussion with Schiff about her revelatory research in the very place where Samuel Adams gave the signal that started the Boston Tea Party: Old South Meeting House, one of Revolutionary Spaces’ two historic sites on the Freedom Trail.

“A glorious book that is as entertaining as it is vitally important,” as praised by celebrated biographer Ron Chernow, The Revolutionary was among President Barack Obama’s list of his favorite books of 2022 and was named one of the Wall Street Journal’s Best 10 Books of 2022.

Copies of The Revolutionary will be available for purchase at the event.

Doors will open at Old South Meeting House at 6:30pm and the event will begin at 7:00pm.

This program is free and open to the public thanks to the generous support of the Lowell Institute.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Pre-registration is highly encouraged.
