We are excited to launch our new Tween & Me Book Club with a book discussion with Elly Swartz, author of Same Page.Tween and Me Book Club gives tweens the opportunity to read with a family member or friend and join us for a book discussion.
We know it can be hard for tweens to commit to going somewhere alone, so we’d love for them to pick a parent, grandparent, friend, etc. to read with and join together.
Our first discussion will be with Elly Swartz focused on Elly's newest novel, Same Page, which follows take-charge sixth grader Bess Stein as she brings together friends and a group of rockstar librarians referred to as the Book Warriors to fight a book ban happening at her middle school.Following the book discussion, we will host a Q&A with Elly for young readers with questions about Same Page, being an author, or book banning.
Please register, as we will need to get an alternative location if interest is higher than our capacity at the store.
