Join us for the Emerging Writers Summit ---a free, half-day event for high school, college-aged, or any emerging writers in the Boston and Northeastern Area!

Whether you write fiction, memoir, poetry, or anything in between, this event is for you.

The Emerging Writers Summit brings together newer writers and the established literary figures who were once exactly where you are, to connect, learn, and explore what it actually takes to build a life around writing.

On April 4th, from 12 to 4 PM at Northeastern University in Boston, you'll hear from NYT bestsellers, Hollywood-adapted authors, award-winning memoirists, bookshop owners, and more, all in one room.

Here's what to expect:
• Keynote from New York Times bestselling and Hollywood-adapted author Joseph Finder, whose thrillers High Crimes and Paranoia have been turned into major motion pictures
• Craft workshop led by Lauren Artiles, instructor at GrubStreet Creative Writing Center, Boston's premier creative writing institution
• One-on-one and small group Q&A time to talk directly with speakers
• Closing panel featuring incredible speakers like:

- Trisha Blanchet, author of forthcoming MURDER LIKE MAGIC and The Neath Trilogy, journalist, humor columnist, and host of A Mighty Blaze Podcast
- Christopher Golden, industry veteran and bestselling author of fantasy, horror, and suspense across novels, comics, and more
- Helen Fremont, award-winning memoirist praised by The New York Times and People Magazine
- Alex George, acclaimed novelist, owner of Skylark Bookshop, and founder of the Unbound Book Festival

This event is completely free and open to anyone.
