Every Memorial Day weekend, (except in 2020), the MA Military Heroes organization plants a Garden of 37,000 Flags in front of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument on Boston Common.The flags commemorate the Massachusetts service members who have given their lives to defend the United States and our freedom.
At this time, the Memorial Day Flag Garden is planned to be on display at the Soldiers & Sailors Monument of Boston Common in 2023 from May 25 – May 29.
All visitors to the Flag Garden are asked to review current city and state COVID-19 safety regulations prior to their visit to the Flag Garden.
